Bali Gig Guide is a prelaunch platform for discovering live music in Bali. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when artists, venues, and other users interact with the site.
What we collect
When you sign up, contact us, or upload profile details, we may collect your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, venue or band information, social links, profile images, and any other information you choose to share with Bali Gig Guide.
How we use your information
We use your information to operate the platform, review and approve listings, communicate with you about your account, improve the product, and prepare public artist and venue profiles for launch. We may also use contact details to provide support, password recovery, important account notices, and service updates.
When information becomes public
Band and venue information submitted through Bali Gig Guide is not automatically published. Listings may be reviewed by our team before they appear publicly. Once approved and published, profile details, media, location information, and public contact details may be visible to users of the service.
Sharing and service providers
We may use trusted infrastructure providers, such as hosting, analytics, authentication, storage, email, and mapping services, to help run Bali Gig Guide. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the platform, or to investigate misuse.
Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no internet service is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised.
Your choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information by contacting us. Some information may need to be retained for operational, legal, or security reasons. If you no longer want a listing to appear publicly, contact us and we can review the request.
Account deletion
You can delete your Bali Gig Guide account in the mobile app from Profile > Settings > Account deletion > Delete Account. If you no longer have access to the app, email hello@baligigguide.com from your account email address with the subject "Delete my Bali Gig Guide account". When an account is deleted, we remove the app account and associated app data such as profile details, follows, booking inquiries, posts, and notifications. We may retain a minimal deletion record, including the deleted account email, and any information we are required to keep for legal, security, abuse-prevention, or operational reasons.
